Three Brooks Pottery, located in southeastern Pennsylvania, creates original hand made decorative ceramic tiles and mosaics in the Arts and Crafts style. Most of my tile designs are sculptural as the subjects are raised from the surface. Usually some portion of the tile is cleaned of glaze to expose the red terra cotta clay. 

    The pottery was first established in 1997 as red ware pottery summer project, but I have been greatly influenced by my apprenticeship in tile making in 2019 and most of my work is now focused on tile, sculptural ceramics, and some decorative pottery. These original tile designs can be used individually as collectables, but I like to play with design ideas of modular design and tessellation when using multiple tiles and colors. Each tile is hand-crafted and glazed individually by myself using old world tile making processes. Because these tiles are hand made there is some variation of sizes and colors and flatness, which leads to the hand make look.
